Ajira Yangu Business Plan Competition

NEEC and ILO

Ajira Yangu project is a collaborative effort between International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Government of Tanzania, Prime Minister’s Office through the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC) to support young entrepreneurs with seed capital (grant) to start and expand their businesses with potential for employment creation as well as providing systematic business development mentorship over a defined period of time to young women and men running businesses in Tanzania. TAPBDS’ engagement was on project design, screening of the applications, training of 50 shortlisted candidates on Business Planning using ILO/SIYB Tools and selection of top 20. TAPBDS team is currently mentoring grantees.
